A wonderful garage conversion into a bedroom / wetroom!! Rick and his team including Bob and Nathan were absolutely fantastic. Rick is so attentive to detail and couldn’t do enough to help. Despite being incredibly busy with other jobs scheduled he did his utmost to get the conversion done for me – I have motor neurone disease and couldn’t walk upstairs so I was in desperate need.
The workmanship is fantastic and he delivered on his promise that it would look “mint” when finished.
In addition, it was competitive and he did what he could to keep costs down but delivering everything I needed.
Rick is also extremely personable, friendly and easy to get on with. I enjoyed having him round.

I required a 5th bedroom for my large growing family, and another builder attempted the job but it wasn’t to an acceptable standard so I put out a message on the internet to several garage conversion companies to help me urgently… the only one to reply was Northern Garage Conversions (Rick). He called me the very next morning, explaining what had been done wrong and how he could rectify it. He gave a competitive price which did not change at any point, even though my house threw him a few unexpected curve balls. He adapted to the problems, gave solutions and sorted the issues very quickly. In fact, the conversion revealed an unexpected damp problem in my house, which Rick sorted whilst he was there. He helped with design work and measurements to make sure we were aware of and happy with the final outcome, as well as taking care of building regulations. He was very relatable, friendly, professional, thorough, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. The same would also be said for his team of workers who were also of a very high standard. Thank you Rick.

Rick and his team really are the No1 team and we would recommend them to anyone! When got a number of quotes for a two storey double garage conversion I to a self-contained annexe and Rick’s was the most comprehensive and thorough by far. He started the job on time and managed to complete the work in 7 weeks, far in advance of the timescale set initially. This was testament to the professionalism and reliability of the team who grafted every day. The final result is fantastic and we couldn’t have been happier with it. Thank again Rick, great job!

Rick completed then job within the expected timeframe. The job wasn’t straight forward but the price quoted is the price I paid. Rick & Stu are a pleasure to work with. The job has been finished to a very high standard. I never would have thought that my really run down garage could look as brilliant as it does! I would recommend Rick & his team and would have no hesitation to use them again.

Just had our garage conversion completed yesterday by this company. Couldn’t recommend enough. From the initial enquiry to completion they’ve been responsive and professional. Rick and Jordan are down to earth, no nonsense and respectful of our family home. All work carried out has been spot on, and have gone over and above our expectations and nothing was too much trouble. The building inspector who signed the job off also commented that it “was a top job”- that’s good enough for us! 100% will be recommending to others.
